Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, stock, and materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Sort, organize, and locate products on pallets, shelves, or racks according to established safety and inventory protocols.
- Monitor and maintain strict temperature control standards in designated storage areas.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle counting to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a strong plus but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (freezers/refrigerated units).
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
