Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Manage, mentor, and train a team of warehouse associates to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement strategies to minimize shrinkage.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies at all times.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize shipping and receiving schedules.
- Prepare and review operational reports, analyzing metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift certification is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
