Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA compliance) to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse staff, conducting performance evaluations and scheduling shifts.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure outbound orders are processed correctly and delivered on time.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure all equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is maintained and operational.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems and WMS software.
- Forklift certification and valid driver’s license required.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively and handle conflict resolution.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as business demands.
