Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of productivity and engagement.
- Maintain and inspect material handling equipment and forklifts to ensure operational readiness.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping schedules and reduce lead times.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and operational summaries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervision.
- Valid forklift certification and knowledge of safety regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
