Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Train and mentor staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and inventory management
- Implement lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Manage inventory control systems and reconciliation processes
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet production deadlines
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- 1-3 years warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift certification (provided during training if needed)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in WMS software and inventory tracking systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
