Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and training.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control procedures to prevent loss and waste.
- Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, productivity, and operational costs.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse facility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required for candidates with strong leadership potential.
- Valid forklift certification is a strong plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
