Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Manage and train 10-15 warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Implement lean inventory management practices and cycle count procedures
- Coordinate with transportation teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Enforce OSHA compliance and maintain a safe working environment
- Generate performance reports and identify process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics experience
- Basic proficiency in inventory management systems (WMS)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain through paid training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
