Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping activities
- Train and supervise 10-15 team members on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Implement inventory control systems using WMS technology
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance
- Optimize workflow processes to maximize productivity and reduce costs
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments
- Generate performance reports and implement improvement strategies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn WMS systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license (required for facility tours)
