Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure 100% accuracy and timely delivery.
- Team Leadership: Direct, train, mentor, and evaluate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and engagement.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace and conduct regular safety audits.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies to optimize stock accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement solutions to optimize performance and reduce waste.
- Reporting: Generate and present daily/weekly reports on operational metrics, labor hours, and inventory status to upper management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics operations, or a related field.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and motivating a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
