Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the entire warehouse workflow, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, timely, and within safety guidelines.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff to maximize productivity and maintain high morale.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies to ensure accurate stock keeping.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current processes and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Shipping & Receiving: Supervise the inbound and outbound logistics, verifying shipment accuracy and coordinating with transportation partners.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification and/or OSHA 10/30 training.
- Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team and resolve conflicts effectively.
