Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping functions.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to resolve issues and improve order fulfillment accuracy.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on operational performance and team metrics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management software and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Proven track record of managing large teams and driving operational efficiency.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license are required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train others effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
