Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, ensuring efficient daily operations and safety compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems and implement lean methodologies
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless inbound/outbound logistics
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and workplace incidents
- Collaborate with management on process optimization and cost reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic math and reporting skills with attention to detail
