Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and shipping activities.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Schedule, train, and supervise warehouse staff, conducting performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with logistics managers to optimize shipping schedules and reduce bottlenecks.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Resolve operational issues and handle customer inquiries regarding order status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Valid forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 General Industry certification.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
