Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products to ensure optimal workflow and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and manage cycle counts to prevent shrinkage and ensure accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace for all employees.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Shipment Coordination: Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator certification and/or forklift trainer certification is required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
