Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor 10-15 warehouse staff, ensuring safety protocols and performance standards
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize loss
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure on-time delivery and efficient logistics
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency
- Generate performance reports and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Forklift certification required
