Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages and optimize storage space.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Conduct regular safety drills and equipment inspections (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Implement process improvements and operational strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Resolve operational issues and address employee concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
