Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity targets are met.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and safe working environment.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate shipments for timely delivery.
- Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance staff as needed.
- Resolve operational issues and customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and review daily shift reports and operational logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Valid forklift certification and knowledge of warehouse machinery.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
