Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Manage team of 15+ warehouse associates through scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement lean inventory management practices to optimize storage and reduce waste
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient transportation and delivery scheduling
- Conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory and generate performance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience in fast-paced distribution environment
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment expertise
- Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree in supply chain preferred
