Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage space and workflow
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle count verification processes
- Ensure proper stacking and securing of materials to prevent damage
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexibility to work Friday-Sunday shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
