Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely operate sit-down and reach forklifts to move pallets and materials to and from trucks and storage racks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
- Inventory Control: Conduct accurate cycle counts and manage stock levels using warehouse management software.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a logistics or warehousing setting.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven warehouse terrain.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
