Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently, adhering to strict loading limits and safety guidelines.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all machinery is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated zones to ensure easy accessibility.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company workplace policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory needs and safety hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
