Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to verify proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Accurately check inventory against manifests and maintain organized storage areas to optimize warehouse flow.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and shipping targets, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, valid forklift certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with a positive attitude.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Reliable transportation to and from the San Francisco facility.
