Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any necessary repairs to maintenance immediately to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) in real-time.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents and maintain operational flow.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines, especially during peak weekend periods.
- Perform routine safety checks and adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Certification or be willing to obtain one through our training program.
- Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift, reach truck, or sit-down forklift is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and have a flexible schedule.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse scanning equipment is a plus.
