Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate pallet jacks, forklifts (forklift certification required or willing to train), and conveyor systems to move inventory.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping to ensure 99.9% on-time delivery.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels within the warehouse management system.
- Load & Unload: Physically load and unload trucks using proper safety protocols, including strapping and covering cargo.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure all items meet company quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum requirement for all applicants.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility: Availability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify data accuracy and maintain organized workspaces.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners or computer terminals.
