Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are correct.
- Inspect machinery for safety issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet deadlines.
- Perform daily safety checks on the forklift before operation.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including sweeping, organizing, and labeling.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (CDL Class A/B preferred but not always required for entry-level).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and record-keeping.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
