Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track inventory using handheld scanners, ensuring stock levels are up to date.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and order processing.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime if needed.
