Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment with accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate powered industrial equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks) safely and according to protocols.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure all orders meet quality standards before shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) strictly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as required during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but preferred for internal transport).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions if working in a warehouse dock.
- Flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.
