Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages accurately from trailers and conveyors.
- Sort, pack, and organize inventory items according to Amazon's strict standards.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets.
- Handle customer returns and damaged goods with care.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs (22 kg) repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (loading docks and outdoor areas).
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not always required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
