Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming orders for accuracy and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels, barcodes, and documentation to parcels efficiently.
- Sort and organize stock in designated bins and shelving units to maintain a tidy warehouse.
- Operate hand-held scanners and basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with the shipping team to meet daily and weekly production targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety labels and order sheets.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
