Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial vehicles to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and logging stock movements into the management system.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated areas to maximize space utilization and prevent damage.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Forklift Operator (CFL) or Counterbalance Lift Truck (CL) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a professional warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and understand shipping labels and inventory lists.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
