Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of all forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to maximize warehouse space.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA or equivalent certification required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and reading tickets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid state-issued ID and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
