Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F) to move and organize products
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP) and sanitation standards
- Load/unload trucks while maintaining proper temperature control procedures
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
