Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks in accordance with safety protocols.
- Inventory Control: Perform accurate inventory counts and record stock movements using our management systems.
- Temperature Monitoring: Regularly check and log temperatures within the facility to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment efficiently and accurately.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist in keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damage or quality issues.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in a cold environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, cold storage, or logistics is highly preferred.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification is a plus but not required for all entry-level positions.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
