Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation for refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold environments to load/unload shipments
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and stock rotation protocols
- Conduct daily sanitation and safety inspections of cold storage areas
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for efficient product flow
- Utilize WMS systems for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines and food safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in -10°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and inventory system experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
