Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized within the refrigerated storage units.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with strict food safety and health regulations.
- Perform regular sanitation and cleaning of warehouse floors, racks, and equipment to prevent contamination.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing between 30 and 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for operating scanners and logging data.
- Must be able to work in extreme cold conditions (temperatures often drop below 40°F).
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team.
