Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trailers using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain optimal temperature zones (-10°F to 40°F) for perishable goods
- Conduct inventory audits using RF scanners and digital tracking systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA sanitation protocols for food safety
- Operate cold storage equipment including dock seals and refrigeration units
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow management
- Document temperature logs and quality control metrics daily
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR for equipment operation
- Basic math skills for inventory management and shipping documentation
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Attention to detail for quality control compliance
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends
