Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in cold storage units (-10°F to 40°F) through monitoring and adjustments
- Inspect and record inventory using RF scanners and digital tracking systems
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment in refrigerated environments
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Coordinate loading/unloading of temperature-sensitive products with shipping teams
- Perform routine sanitation and preventative maintenance on facility equipment
- Support inventory rotation and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (or ability to complete company training)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and temperature monitoring
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
