Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/un refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks
- Inspect and document inventory with digital scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA sanitation standards
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts with certification)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid DC driver's license (preferred)
- Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures
