Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments and verify orders.
- Ensure the safety of the workspace by adhering to all OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
- Perform regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Clean and organize storage areas to maximize efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
