Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all items match purchase orders and invoices.
- Organize and maintain warehouse shelves and storage areas to ensure efficient inventory management and safety compliance.
- Package and label items according to company standards and shipping regulations.
- Operate material handling equipment and perform routine safety inspections to prevent accidents.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
