Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stage products in refrigerated storage units using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock rotation (FIFO) to prevent spoilage.
- Monitor temperature logs and environmental conditions to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse housekeeping procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Must be willing to work in extreme cold environments (32°F and below).
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
