Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload trailers, pallets, and boxes using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment (provided) including forklifts and conveyors while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment in an organized and timely manner.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- RF Scanning: Utilize handheld scanners to track inventory and update warehouse management systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Equipment: Willingness to operate forklifts or pallet jacks; certification is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies and maintain accuracy in data entry.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends or nights if required.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff.
