Responsibilities
- Operational Safety: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while operating heavy machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts, stock rotation (FIFO), and manage inventory logs within the warehouse management system.
- Cold Environment Handling: Monitor and maintain precise temperature controls in storage units to ensure product integrity and quality.
- Freight Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage palletized goods for shipment and distribution.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times to prevent spoilage and accidents.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and data entry.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, able to work flexible shifts, and pass a background check.
