Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow and inventory accuracy.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and safety-conscious work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, oversee stock movements, and ensure proper storage and organization.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Train new employees on standard operating procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with management to improve operational processes and reduce waste.
- Resolve operational issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Business is a plus.
- No prior warehouse or management experience is necessary; we value attitude and drive over specific history.
- Strong leadership potential and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
