Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move stock in and out of the cold storage area.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts, cycle counts, and manage inventory logs to ensure accuracy.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain strict temperature logs to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations at all times.
- General Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred.
- Documentation: Ability to read and interpret basic logs and safety data sheets.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
