Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trailers, pallets, and containers with precision and care to prevent damage.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate bin locations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Palletizing: Properly stack and secure products on pallets for shipping and storage.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a current and valid forklift operator certification (Forklift License).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and available for overtime shifts as required by business needs.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
