Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, and organize goods within freezer and cooler environments to ensure stock rotation and safety.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy pallets and stacks of inventory.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or spoilage and report discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing shipments and temperature records.
- General Maintenance: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, cold storage, or logistics is preferred but not required for qualified applicants.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
