Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Monitor inventory levels and organize stock in designated freezer and cooler sections.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Inspect products for damage or quality issues before processing for shipping or storage.
- Operate warehouse equipment (training provided) and ensure routine maintenance checks are completed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and workflow efficiency.
- Adhere to cold chain regulations to ensure product integrity and safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (freezer and cooler environments).
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and undergo training for equipment operation.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and scanning.
- Attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy in stock management.
- Valid driver's license (if required for driving forklifts or company vehicles).
