Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Monitor and maintain accurate temperature logs to ensure food safety compliance.
- Organize warehouse inventory and ensure accurate stock placement in designated zones.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of the cold storage facility and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Assist in quality control checks for damaged or spoiled goods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (below 35°F) for extended periods.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Newark, NJ.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
