Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading and ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by stacking and organizing stock.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and conveyor systems, in compliance with safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by ensuring orders are picked and packed accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- License: Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background check.
- Equipment: Current Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain certification upon hire).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
